Narnia Tag

Here is a Narnia tag that I found over at Austenitis,
that she tagged whoever wanted to do it (:

Who’s your favorite Pevensie kid?
wow this is really hard....I love them all!
but I suppose that I would choose....either Peter or Lucy....
Ok then Lucy, because she always has so much faith, and she is so sweet,
and forgiving, she was the first to forgive Ed after he betrayed them <3

List the other three Pevensie kids in order according to how much you like them. Include a few details.
Peter, Edmund, Susan. Peter because he is so wonderful,
and I love the way he protects all his siblings, especially Lu!
Edmund because he is just so sweet, and also because although
in most of The lion the witch and the wardrobe he is a nasty
spoiled little brat, he has a real change of heart and really
repents and becomes so sweet for the rest of that book
and all the other books he is in, I also love the way he is
also protective of his siblings (:
and Susan because lots of the time I can understand how and
why she did and thought like she did, and furthermore I believe
that in the end she had a change  of heart and returned to
Aslan and was reunited with her family.

Who’s your favorite Narnian (other than Aslan)?
Does caspian count? if not than Reepicheep, he is just soooo cute
(and thankfully not here to hear me say that, or I
might find myself at the tip of a sword *GRIN* )

Which child are you the most similar to?
I don't know I am really a mix between all of them...but I suppose
....oh I don't know! (:

Have you read the books? Yes, multiple times.the first being when
I was five ( I learned to read when I was four) and ever since I have
read them at least five times a year (:
Which book is your favorite? Why?
Well I suppose The voyage of the dawn treader..
.because I just love the sea, and ships and voyages
to the end of the world (:
List the books, with the first one being your most favorite and the last being your least favorite.
The Voyage of the dawn Treader, The silver chair, The last battle, The horse and his boy, prince caspian, the lion the witch and the wardrobe, the magicians nephew.

Have you seen the movies? If so, which is your favorite? And which do you like least? Yes, all three. I think my favorite is again, the voyage of the dawn treader, even though it of all three was the least like the book.. than the lion the witch and the wardrobe, which was most like the book, and lastly prince caspian, I think that the fact that there was a kiss between Susan and Caspian in the movie just ruined it for me...
Tell us some general thoughts about the movies – what you liked or disliked about them.
Well lets start with LWW I really liked everything about it, it was a wonderful intro to Narnia, they had WONDERFUL scenery, actors, costumes, music just wonderful everything....Next up, PC, this was a bit disappointing for me because after LWW being so good I had really high expectations for this one...and all in all the scenery and the actors and costumes and music were all really good and lived up to my expectations, and it was also lovely to see all the Pevensies growing up a bit, but there where some disappointments for me, like the fact that Peter was so proud, and that he and Caspian fought all the time, and also the romance between Susan and Caspian (though admittedly they didn't put too much of it in there-thank goodness, that one small kiss already ruined it enough!- it was still not true to the books, and also a bit pointless)
then there is VDT this was actually the first movie that I saw the trailer for and also read what everyone had to say about it. Also because of various circumstances I wasn't able to watch it until a year after it came out (actually it was only a few moths ago) So I had heard from everyone how disappointing it was and how it was so different from the books. so when I actually got to watch it I didn't come with any expectations whatsoever. I came to watch it thinking of it as a completely separate thing than the book, and I was pleasantly surprised, because admittedly it was not really that much like the book but they did a really really really good job on it, in everything (: and I also REALLY LOVED Lucy in this one (:

Did you get to see any of the movies in the theater? Which one(s)?
Nope, I have actually never been the the theater.
Have you gotten to read the amazing movie guides for LWW and PC?
Nope

If you had to live in Narnia for one day – one day from any of the books as any of the characters – which day/character would you choose? Why?
I would be Lucy on the day when she returned to Narnia in the voyage of the dawn treader, because it must have felt so wonderful to come back to Narnia (:

Luthien and Beren

I found this while reading "the book of lost tales two" it is the second volume in the histories of middle earth. I was reading chapter one "the lay of Luthien" :
" You must choose, Beren, between these two: to relinquish the quest and your oath and seek a life of wandering upon the face of the earth; or to hold to your word and challenge the power of darkness upon its throne. But on either road I shall go with you, and our doom shall be alike"
Isn't is lovely!! (:

Lord of the rings tag

I saw this tag over at Austenitis and thought it looked really fun so here is my answers! (:

Books:

Have you read the books?
Yes I have...In fact they are my favorite books ever!! (:

Provided you’ve read the books, which is your favorite?
Well it is a really hard choice but I suppose I would have to say The return of the king...though the Two Towers would come in a very close second and I also love the fellowship!! (:

Have you read The Hobbit
Yes...that is what brought me to tLotR..

Have you read any Lord of the Rings companions?
No..not really...

Movies:

Have you seen the movies?
Yes....I love them, but I still prefer the books by far!!! (:

Have you read the any movie guides?
yes..one bye Jude Fisher for the Fellowship of the ring..
Which is your favorite movie?
Hard choice!! But I suppose that I would go for the return of the king again!! (:

What’s your favorite scene from the trilogy?
Hmm....Can't really decide on one! but I suppose I could try to narrow it down! (: Well one of my favorite scenes is the battle of the black gates...and I also love the drinking game between Legolas and Gimli (Extended...) And everything with Faramir or Legolas in it!! And MANY MANY more!!
What scene do you find exceptionally touching?
Well I can't really say...but the end (At the harbor..) always makes me cry...and also Boromir's death..and most of the parts with Faramir...especially when he is with Boromir..(Extended...)

Have you seen the extended movies?
Yes! I LOVE THEM!!!!!!

Story:

Tell us your three favorite characters (good luck narrowing it down!) and why.
Wow this is cruel!!! ONLY three!! ): Well I suppose it would be: Sam, he is so loyal and sweet, even when all the hard things happen!! Well I suppose the last two would have to be Legolas and Gimli!! Because they have such a lovely friendship!! And also because Legolas-is an elf and he is so good with his bow and arrows and he is also such a good friend to Gimli and Aragorn!! Gimli-because he is so funny and a few other reasons that I am not sure of!!!!

Who bugs you most, in terms of being really annoying (but not necessarily really wicked)?
Well I suppose it would have to be Denethor!! I HATE HIM!! How could he be so mean to Faramir!! ): (Can someone please tell me how he could do that!! )
But there are a few...

What are your feelings on Boromir?
I love him!! in the beginning I didn't like him so much because he was so tempted by the ring...but in the end he is so wonderful, and when I saw the extended editions, you see a part where he is in Osgiliath before he leaves and he is so different and kind, and he loves Faramir VERY much!!

Who do you like better, Aragorn or Faramir?
Well, I suppose I would have to say Faramir...though Aragorn would come in a VERY VERY close second!!

Which Lord of the Rings weapon would you most like to learn to use?
Legolas's bow and arrows! No doubt in my mind!!

What do you think about Eowyn?
Well I have kind of mixed feelings about her..but for the most part I like her...or feel sorry for her...I do NOT agree with some of the things she did..but in the end it all worked out for good....
If you were going into battle, which character would you want to take with you?
hmm...I suppose that I would take Legolas...but Aragorn would also be really good!! (:

Which girl is your favorite?
Weeelll.......I suppose that I would have to say Arwen...though I really like the book Galladriel! (: (:
Which hobbit is your favorite?
Well I would have to go with Sam...but I really really like Pippin too!! (:
Which location is your favorite?
Well I suppose that I would have to say Rivendell...but I love all the places!!

Yay that was fun!!!
Have a lovely day ~Naomi
